I got my implants and I will tell you that if I ever needed anything again as far as a bridge or removable partial I would go to implants. They’re wonderful, you don’t have to worry about what you’re eating. It’s just like having your own teeth. I’d recommend Dr. Ron to anyone and I assure you that he will do you a good job.

I would suggest for anybody to come see Dr. Ron. He and his staff make you feel at ease. One thing that I like about Dr. Ron is that he was able to do all of my treatment. I didn’t have to run all over town seeing multiple doctors to get my work done. I just really like him.

I had a couple missing teeth on the lower left and did NOT want a removable partial denture. After our conversation about implants, I decided to go ahead and have some implants done. So Dr. Receveur did three implants and with the three implants I’ve never had a minutes’ trouble. I feel comfortable eating apples, pears, anything I want to eat. Dr. Receveur, I would recommend him to anybody because of his patience and the work he does. He does excellent work. If I needed some other implants, I would have Dr. Ron to do that. Just have to say thanks to Dr. Receveur for being so kind.

For four years I had to wear a flipper-type thing and usually took it out to eat. I decided I had to get rid of the little partial. I was scared at first about the implant because I knew it was surgery. Dr. Receveur made me very comfortable with the whole procedure, with everything. Placing the implant was a very easy procedure and now I don’t even think about it. I can bite into anything I want. I can do whatever I want. I don’t have to take anything out whenever I go to eat with friends or anything. It was a great decision and I’m glad Dr. Ron told me about it and gave me the option and he was the one that did it. Dr. Ron will definitely be my dentist for life; I wouldn’t want to go to anybody else, ever.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Receveur for over 25 years. I love him dearly, he’s my buddy. He fixed plates for me and they lasted many years. This past year I lost a couple teeth on the lower jaw and decided to have some implants to secure the lower denture. So now I can eat anything I want. My teeth stay exactly where they’re supposed to stay. I am very happy that Dr. Ron put these implants in. I sure wish he’d have done it 25 years ago but I guess it wasn’t possible then. But I love it now, I can eat anything I want, I can go anyplace I want and I have no problems whatsoever and I just love Dr. Ron! He’s my pal.

Meet Dr. Ron

Dr. Ronald Receveur is native to Louisville, Kentucky. His undergraduate degree with honors in Chemistry was received upon graduating from Indiana University Southeast. His Doctorate in Dental Surgery was received from the Indiana University School of Dentistry, and since the year 1981 has provided state-of-the-art, gentle dentistry. Dr. Receveur continues with his all-encompassing education far more than is required, allowing him to provide the best cutting-edge dentistry to each of his dental patients.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Receveur has continued with his comprehensive training in managing the pain and dysfunction connected with the jaw, head and neck. In the 1980s he studied under Dr. Gus Livaditis, whose early research with acid etch and chemical bonding is now widely used in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, improvements to bond porcelain veneers, and acrylics. Dr. Receveur has much experience in providing smile ‘make-overs’, with more than 25 years of experience in placing porcelain veneers. He studied under Alan Weinstein in Cincinnati whose clinical testing for dental supply companies helped to enhance the strength, durability and beauty of many cosmetic bonding materials. It is due to this early work that much present day cosmetic dentistry is actually possible.

Dr. Receveur held the position of Regional Coordinator with a national practice management group for a number of years, with a commitment to provide the highest possible amount of care to their patients. He has also taught other dentists how to maximize the quality of all aspects of their dental care procedures and delivery. He often speaks for a range of civic, professional and peer groups on a range of topics, such as cosmetic and metal-free dentistry, and how to manage the pain associated with many neck and jaw dysfunctions.

Dr. Receveur spent time training with Nobel BioCare and The Midwest Implant Institute on the topic of the implant placement and any solutions possible for patients with both missing teeth and denture problems. He enjoys and takes pride in removing the frustration of his patients caused by missing teeth and an inability to chew their food.

Being certified in Oral Sedation, and treating each individual with compassion are just two of the ways in which Dr. Ron and his staff are able to guarantee the comfort of their patients.

Dr Receveur has this to say about their approach to dentistry, “There’s No Need To Be Afraid Anymore! Come visit us and allow us to show you the difference it can make when you discover a dentist that has a real passion for what he does, an understanding of your needs and an authentic concern for your comfort. Our pleasure and satisfaction comes from helping a scared patient to manage their fear and their every anxiety.”

Dr. Receveur likes to think of himself as both a perfectionist and a good communicator when it comes to his work. "Patients have a desire to be educated about their health and dental care to allow them to make intelligent decisions. To make that happen we need to be effective communicators. For 25 years we have made every effort to help our patients to understand every option, and taken pride in providing them with practical solutions to any dental problem". It is due to this dedication that Dr. Receveur was voted the "BEST DENTIST" for four consecutive years in the opinion poll of a local newspaper.
